Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

At IGEFI Group SARL and of its affiliates (a.k.a Multifonds), we are committed to ensuring that our business operations and supply chains are free from modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement outlines the steps we have taken to combat these issues in accordance with legal requirements in any jurisdiction where we operate and more specifically to meet the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657), the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, and relevant EU regulations.

Our Business

Multifonds is s a leading provider of investment accounting and transfer agency software used to administer assets globally.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include multinational tech and data warehouse companies, software companies and some local facilities provision. We work with suppliers from various regions, but they are largely based in the EU or USA.

Our Policies

We have implemented several policies to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur in our supply chains. These include:

  • Supplier Code of Conduct: Our code of conduct requires all suppliers to adhere to ethical labor practices and prohibits the use of forced labor.
  • Third party Risk Management Policy: We conduct risk based due diligence on our suppliers to assess their compliance with our standards.
  • Training: We provide training to our employees and suppliers on identifying and preventing modern slavery.

Verification

We verify our supply chains through

  • Contracting: Requiring supplier contracts to commit to adherence to our Supplier Code of Conduct or similarly structured and prohibitive standards in their own.
  • Certification: Requiring higher risk suppliers to certify that their operations are free from modern slavery.
  • Internal Accountability: Holding our employees and suppliers accountable for adhering to our standards.

Risk Assessment

We assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chains by:

  • Mapping Supply Chains: Identifying high-risk areas within our supply chains.
  • Engaging Stakeholders: Collaborating with stakeholders to address potential risks.

Actions Taken

To combat modern slavery, we have taken the following actions:

  • Supplier Engagement: Providing clear expectations and contract terms, and where applicable, requesting assurances and discussing risks with suppliers to improve labor practices.
  • Grievance Mechanisms: Providing channels for employees and suppliers to report concerns about modern slavery. Reporting can be completed through Multifonds.ethicspoint.com
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing and updating our policies and practices.

Effectiveness

We measure the effectiveness of our efforts through:

  • KPIs: Tracking key performance indicators related to modern slavery.
  • Feedback: Acting on feedback from employees, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Further Steps

We are committed to improvement in our efforts to combat modern slavery and use our KPIs, feedback and supplier engagement practices to prioritise and manage these programmes of work. We review and update this statement annually.
